Packaging Lines

Vimco packaging lines integrate all the modules required for secondary packaging into a single continuous process: forming machines, loading islands, closing machines, case packers, and Wrap Around systems. The product enters the line as primary packaging and a flat die-cut blank, and exits as a case ready for shipment or as a display box ready for retail display, with a perfectly synchronised flow at every stage of the cycle.

Each module is designed and sized to fit the next one, ensuring operational consistency, maximum efficiency, and production continuity throughout the packaging line. This approach eliminates bottlenecks, reduces downtime, and ensures constant performance even in high-output production environments.

Each solution starts from the analysis of the actual product and the customer’s packaging specifications. There are no standard configurations to be adapted: each packaging line is custom-developed by Vimco’s R&D department to precisely meet the requirements of the production process.

The two- and three-axis robotic systems, as well as all the main components of the packaging line, are also designed and built in-house. A single technical team oversees the entire project, from initial application analysis through start-up and production stabilisation, ensuring reliability, design consistency, and a single point of contact throughout the development cycle.

Why choose Vimco packaging lines

Each Vimco packaging line is developed according to the actual specifications of the process: product, packaging, and the customer’s production cycle. Below are the concrete advantages this choice brings to your line.

The product is at the centre of the design process

The R&D department starts from the customer’s product and packaging, not from a standard configuration to be adapted. Each line is fully developed in accordance with the process specifications: format, speed, loading method, and processing sequence.

A single supplier for the entire line

Forming machines, robots, closing machines, case packers, or Wrap Around systems: all components are developed by the same technical department.

Quality systems integrated into the cycle

Weight control, machine vision, and non-compliant product rejection are integrated directly into the line. Inspection takes place in a continuous flow, not in separate stations that interrupt the production rate.

Robots designed and built in-house

The two- or three-axis robots for product positioning are not integrated third-party systems: they are developed by the same technical department that designs the rest of the line. The control logic is consistent from the loading island through to final closing.

Direct after-sales, with no intermediaries

The service department knows every component of the line because it developed it. When an issue occurs, no time is lost determining who is responsible for the problem.
