Closing machine

Our range of closing machines is designed for closing boxes with integrated lids. The machine folds the flaps down and seals them with hot-melt glue or an interlocking closure system. The lid structure can be designed with three flaps or one flap.

Speed is electronically adjustable up to 200 boxes per minute, and format changeover is simple and quick, with no dedicated tools required.

The closing machines work in sequence with our forming machines: once the box has been formed and the product has been inserted, they close the lid and complete the cycle. If the process requires a top-loading solution, the loading unit is integrated between the two machines.

Why choose Vimco closing machines

Each Vimco closing machine is sized according to the actual process specifications: lid characteristics, closing system, and required speed. Here are the advantages this choice brings to your line.

200 boxes per minute.

The machines are designed to reach high speeds, up to 200 cycles per minute.

Linear or angular configuration.

Depending on the characteristics of the closure, whether three-flap or one-flap, the type of machine is defined as either linear or angular before the specific model is selected.

Easy format changeover.

Switching from one format to another is quick and intuitive.

Different closing systems.

Closure can be achieved using glue or a tuck-in system, depending on the specific requirements.

Integration with the loading unit and forming machine.

The closing machines work in sequence with our loading units and forming machines, creating a complete secondary packaging line.
