Vimco at Cibus Tec 2026: secondary food packaging solutions

From 27 to 30 October 2026, we will be in Parma for Cibus Tec 2026, one of the leading events dedicated to technologies for the food and beverage industry. You will find us in Hall 02 – Stand K026, where we will showcase our approach to secondary packaging: starting with the product, the characteristics of the pack and the production requirements, and building the right solution around them. Cibus Tec brings together technologies that support products through different stages of the production process, from processing and packaging through to end-of-line operations, handling and logistics. The event also covers automation, robotics, control systems and food safety solutions.

Cibus Tec as a forum for technical discussion

Cibus Tec is an exhibition dedicated to solutions for the food and beverage industry, covering different stages of the production chain:

The exhibition is organised into thematic areas and application sectors, bringing together technologies, processes and specific production requirements. The exhibition also includes the Food Packaging Zone, dedicated to food packaging technologies, from primary packaging through to inspection systems, labelling, automation and digital solutions. Alongside packaging, Cibus Tec brings together technologies for a wide range of food and beverage sectors, including bakery products, pasta and cereals, coffee, chocolate, dairy products, ready meals, beverages and pet food. This variety makes the exhibition a meeting point for technology manufacturers, food producers and industry professionals involved in developing, upgrading or automating production processes.

Vimco at Cibus Tec 2026: secondary packaging, technology and a new look

When it comes to food packaging, there is rarely a single configuration that works for every application. Products, primary packaging, formats, required speeds, product arrangement within the pack and the operating conditions of the line can all vary. Our solutions are used across different sectors of the food and beverage industry and are sized according to the specific characteristics of the product and the production process. In complete lines, we can integrate box erectors, loading systems, box closers, case packers and wrap-around solutions, coordinating the different stages of the secondary packaging process. This is the range of technologies we want to bring to life at the exhibition.

What Vimco will present

At our stand, a 3D video will showcase a range of Vimco solutions in sequence, making it possible to see how they operate and understand their role within the secondary packaging process. The visual journey will cover the main stages of the line: from box forming and product loading through to closing, as well as the integration of multiple operations within complete configurations. Visitors will be able to explore our solutions for Box Erector and Closing, Product Loading systems for automatic product loading, and complete Packaging Lines, designed to coordinate multiple stages of the process within a single line. Above all, the 3D video will allow us to show the machines within the context of the overall process. Not as isolated pieces of equipment, but as parts of a system in which product, format, speed, loading method and line configuration all need to be considered together.

Why meet Vimco at Cibus Tec

The 3D video will provide a starting point for discovering our solutions and understanding how they can fit into a secondary packaging process. From there, the discussion can become much more specific. If you have a product to pack, multiple formats to handle, a line to complete or a new stage to automate, we can start with these requirements and work together to identify the most suitable configuration. This is how we work every day: we start with the product and the actual operating conditions of the application, analyse the packaging requirements and develop the solution with the entire process in mind. A new look for Vimco

Cibus Tec will also be the first exhibition where we present our new visual identity, developed through a rebranding process that has involved our logo, corporate identity and key communication materials. We have worked on our identity to make the way we present ourselves clearer, more consistent and more recognisable, maintaining continuity with our history while updating our visual language with a more contemporary approach. The new brand system has been designed to support us across our main communication channels, from our website and social media to presentations and exhibitions. Our new logo is also part of this evolution: it retains a connection with our past while introducing a more contemporary and distinctive visual mark. The symbol draws on the “V” in Vimco and reflects the concepts of Design, Build and Care, while the tagline “We DESIGN. We BUILD. We CARE.” summarises our approach: we design, build and support our customers throughout the different stages of each project. Cibus Tec will therefore be the first opportunity to showcase this new identity in an exhibition setting, alongside the solutions that demonstrate our way of working in practice.
