Product Loading

Every product is different, with its own shape, dimensions and speed. The loading system is designed according to these parameters and the characteristics of the primary packaging. Our range of product loading solutions includes robotic loading stations, cartoning machines, sleeving machines, case packers and wrap around machines, each of them customized to meet the specific requirements of the process. Every solution can work alongside other machines or as a standalone unit within an existing line.

Wrap-around

The machine works with the flat die-cut blanks and directly forms the box or display box around the group of products. From the shipping box to the shelf-ready display: the output configuration is according to the customer’s request.

Case packing machine

The machine groups the products in the required configuration and places them into an American-style case, either from the top or from the side. The choice of loading method depends on the positioning of the product or the type of primary packaging being used.

Sleeving machine

When the packaging is a cardboard sleeve, the machine wraps it around the product or group of products and seals it at the bottom or on the side. It handles a variety of products: from trays to cups multipacks, at speeds of up to 200 pieces per minute.

When the product needs to be inserted into a pre-glued carton, side loading is the most suitable configuration. The machine manages products configuration and insertion with intermittent or continuous motion.

We receive the product from the upstream line in its primary packaging. The two- or three-axis robot picks it up from the production line and places it in position. Product handling is a technical aspect that is studied and defined jointly, taking into account the product’s characteristics.

Why choose our solutions

In Product Loading, there is no one-size-fits-all configuration. We work with pre-packaged products such as flowpacks, sachets and shrink-wrapped items, and develop the loading method based on the actual operating conditions.
Each product enters the line with its own specific characteristics: dimensions, weight, fragility of the primary packaging and product family layout. These are the parameters we use as a starting point for designing each system. Cycle time, output configuration and handling methods are designed based on the products, not on an abstract specification. The Product Loading range encompasses the entire product-handling process. Each machine can be purchased as a stand-alone unit or integrated into a complete production line.
